What in our world is going on?   The relative stability in the Middle East in the past months and days is desperately decaying. The bible is clear …..  those who bless Israel, the family of Abraham, will be blessed by the Lord and those who curse Israel will be cursed by the Creator of the universe    If you are living in the USA, you and I are moving closer to cursing.    Of course there are many other reasons that would move a just and righteous God to judgment on our Nation notwithstanding our relationship with His chosen people.

Our courts are regularly spitting in the face of God as they declare that we should have women marrying other women and men the same, with some of our churches bestowing blessings on this abomination.  We murder infants in their mother’s wombs and call it freedom of choice.   This atrocity is not only supported by our laws but it is often paid for by our government.

Many of our media moguls are spitting in the face of God as the draw the minds of our Nation into the pit of hell akin to the evil Asherah poles of days gone by.  They are apparently completely unaware of the eternal penalty that will be extracted when the Almighty Judge will pronounce His eternal sentence.  But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Yes, and what should be said of those who are producing hard porn and distributing it in its many forms with the sole motivation of greed?     O God, how long will You be patient with this Nation?

Are we are losing the battle?  We are daily giving ground to the enemy of our souls.   The Church of Jesus Christ has little influence in our culture and the width and depth and the putrid nauseating stench of our sin is being flaunted before the eyes and nostrils of our God.

 It is all too common these days to be failing like the famous frog who waffled in the warm water of the pot though as the heat increased he seemed to be steadily drawn to drifting off to sleep.   Yes, and sleep he did, very deeply.

Are we in the Church of Jesus Christ in America asleep?   It is time to wake up!   God in His grace is going to bring a mighty revival.  He is about to change the entire spiritual battle equation.   We cannot know with compete assurance exactly what God will do or when He will do it.  However He has promised ……. Amos 3:7 (AMP)
^“Surely the Lord God will do nothing without revealing His secret to His servants the prophets.”

God’s track record is extensively recorded.   It is stellar and superabundantly validates this promise.  Our God has always told His faithful followers what He is planning.    The only exception that comes to mind is in the case Job.   Of course He could not tell Job what He had planned as this revelation would, in effect, be illegal, giving Him an unfair advantage in His challenge with Satan.   Would you agree … a significant portion of His word falls into the category of His foretelling what He is going to do?

God has told many of His followers in recent years that He plans to bring down upon the USA a revival of enormous proportions!    He will do it!   Yes, and He will do it here in Central Indiana.  If you believe that this is true there are two things your conviction should compel.

First, we should pray.   God has this seemingly strange pattern of desiring us to pray, requesting of Him those things that He desires to provide to us.   This must be a part of the reason that He reveals His plans to His faithful believers.     At any rate, this is the kind of praying, the praying back to God His very plans that brings gladness to our God.    And, not only gladness, but His answers are guaranteed.  Think a moment about guarantees, let this idea soak in deep into your soul, a guarantee from God!

 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.  And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

Are you regularly praying in faith for revival?   If we pray in faith for revival with the settled assurance that God will bring it, then we must be engaged in another significant activity.   We must prepare!    We have all been at one time or another surprised by an answer to prayer.  In these cases we quickly say “ I should have known that God would answer this prayer.”   But remember, we are speaking of praying in faith believing.

James tells us we should have some evidence of our faith.   Flowing from our faith should naturally be a desire to prepare.  What does preparation look like?   God’s direction is:   If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

There is no doubt that our God has for you some even more specific preparations.   He is not a cookie cutter God. So for those things beyond His command to humble yourself and pray and seek His face and pursue deep repentance, you will be best served to ask.     Your Father knows; this is His plan and He has a personal prescription with your name on it.    Will you ask Him?
