Statement of Faith for 2 C Revival:
We believe that there is One Triune God – Father, Jesus Christ His one and only Son, and the Holy Spirit – Creator of the universe and eternally existent. We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ.
We believe the salvation of man is wholly the work of God's free grace and is not the work, in whole or in part, of human works or goodness or religious ceremony. God imputes His righteousness to those who put their faith in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, and thereby justifies them in His sight.
We believe the Holy Scriptures (Old/New Testament) to be the inspired and authoritative Word of God.
We believe each person is created in His image for the purpose of communing with and worshiping God. We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit who enables us to live a Godly life. We believe that each individual is called to love the Lord their God with all their heart, mind, soul and strength; and to love their neighbors as themselves.
We believe that the primary purpose of man is to glorify God. We believe that God has called us to be in personal relationship with Him.
We believe that God desires us to pray. We believe that God will always answer the prayers of His saints offered in faith according to His purposes.
We believe that God will bring revival where His people who are called by His name will continually humble themselves and pray and seek His face and turn from their wicked ways.
