The United States of America is moving at accelerating speed to the edge of the cliff of total destruction. The sword of the Lord is coming upon the Land. He is currently blowing His trumpet. He is warning His people. Pastor, are you warning those who the Lord has set you over as a Watchman?
Many have forecasted that the demise of the USA will come from within. We have no idea how the Lord will ultimately deal with us, but He is dealing with us now.
Pastor, you may be familiar with this passage from Ezekiel. Listen again today to the words concerning the watchman. Please pray about what the Lord would have you do, in your praying, in your preaching, and in your community proclamation.
Ezekiel 33:3-7 (AMP)
3 If when he sees the sword coming upon the land, he blows the trumpet and warns the people,
4 Then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, and the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.
5 He heard the sound of the trumpet and did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning shall save his life.
6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, he is taken away in and for his perversity and iniquity, but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
7 So you, son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear the word at My mouth and give them warning from Me.
Has the Lord set you on the wall as a watchman for your community?
2 Chronicles 7:12-14 (NASB)
12 Then the LORD appeared to Solomon at night and said to him, "I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice.
13 "If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people,
14 and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Sin is running rampant in our land. Sexual sin is common in every city and town. The breakdown of the family, the basic institution of civil and spiritual organization , is clearly upon us. The practice of abortion is promoted in our halls of government and homosexual life styles are being promoted to our children in public schools. We daily look at pornography in every public form of media. We are getting close to the edge of the cliff. How long will God hold off our destruction?
Ask God to give you His perspective and His direction. He knows exactly His plan for your ministry. Will you ask Him?
